Bhutan
Bhutan is a small country located in the eastern Himalayas, between China and India. It is known for its stunning mountain landscapes and rich cultural traditions. Bhutan is a predominantly Buddhist country and has a strong focus on environmental conservation and sustainable development. Some popular tourist destinations in Bhutan include Thimphu, the capital city, and Paro, a city located in the western part of the country. In Thimphu, you can visit landmarks such as the Tashichho Dzong, a large fortress and monastery, and the Memorial Chorten, a stupa. Paro is known for its beautiful valley and the Taktshang Monastery, a Buddhist temple located on a cliff. Bhutan is also home to many hiking and trekking trails, as well as festivals such as the annual Thimphu Tsechu, a religious festival featuring masked dances and other cultural activities. The climate in Bhutan varies depending on the elevation, but it is generally cool in the winter and warm in the summer.
