Itinerary
Arrive in Cairo on the first day, then check into your accommodation. Visit the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids of Giza, two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Wander around the crowded Khan El-Khalili market in the evening.
Visit the adjacent Saqqara Necropolis and Memphis, the former capital of Egypt, for the day. Visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the Memphis Open-Air Museum.
Visit Luxor, the capital of the ancient Egyptians. Visit the greatest temple complexes in Egypt, the Karnak Temple Complex and the Luxor Temple. Take a felucca sailboat trip on the Nile River in the evening.
Fly over the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens in a hot air balloon. Discover the two Colossi of Memnon and the Queen Hatshepsut temples.
Leave Luxor for your next destination. Before you go, you may go to the Luxor Museum or go shopping at the nearby markets.
