Itinerary

Take a flight to begin your adventure from Kathmandu to Jomsom (2720 m). Drive from Jomsom to Chame (2670 m), which is where the Tilicho hike begins, next. You will be traveling via little towns and verdant woods while taking in stunning views of Annapurna II and LamjungHimal. Stay the night in Chame.

From Chame to Pisang (3100 m), the route continues through forested areas and alongside the Marsyangdi River. You will traverse suspension bridges while traveling on a steep, tight track. When you get at Pisang, you may explore the historic Buddhist monastery and take in the views of the Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. Stay the night at Pisang.

You will climb today via high mountain ridges and fields from Pisang to Manang (3540 m). Walking upward gradually while taking in the expansive vistas of the neighboring peaks. Manang is a sizable community with a lot of stores, teahouses, and places to acclimatize. Stay the night at Manang.

Spend a day getting acclimated and touring Manang village. Travel to Tilicho Base Camp and Gangapurna Lake, or take a little stroll to some surrounding hills. It’s crucial to take this day off to recover from altitude sickness. Stay the night at Manang.

 

Trek from Manang to Tilicho Lake (4919 m) through narrow trails, and cross the Thorong La Pass (5416 m). The trek is challenging and requires proper acclimatization, but the views of the Annapurna range, Tilicho Peak and surrounding peaks are stunning. Overnight stay at Tilicho Lake.

Return back to Manang through the same route and overnight stay there,  you can trek down to Jomsom and take a flight back to Kathmandu to end your Tilicho trek.
